  • 1 lb beef sirloin or strip steak
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions in salted boiling water; drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season beef with Cajun seasoning and black pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned; transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then stir in heavy cream and Velveeta until smooth.
  4. Add mozzarella and Parmesan; mix until melted. If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually.
  5. Toss cooked tortellini in the sauce, then add seared beef back into the skillet. Heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
