  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300g Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Juice of lemon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Grill chicken on medium-high heat for 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Toss halved Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper; spread on a baking sheet and roast at 200C (390F) for 20 minutes.
  4. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, whisk in milk gradually, then stir in minced garlic and Parmesan until thickened.
  5. Slice grilled chicken and layer over roasted Brussels sprouts in bowls. Drizzle with creamy sauce before serving.
