  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Optional: pinch of red chili flakes
  • Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder or a squeeze of lemon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice; set aside.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Pour the glaze over the salmon during the last 2 minutes of cooking, allowing it to thicken.
  4. Steam broccoli florets in a steamer or microwave until tender-crisp (4-5 minutes).
  5. Serve the glazed salmon alongside steamed broccoli, drizzling any remaining glaze on top.
