  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 56 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Add cubed butter to a 9×13-inch baking dish and melt in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
  5. Layer half the peach mixture over melted butter in the baking dish, pour batter on top without stirring, then add remaining peaches.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. For the drizzle, combine melted butter with maple syrup in a small pan and boil for 2 minutes.
  8. Allow cobbler to cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature with maple drizzle.
