  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 5 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 28 oz canned diced tomatoes
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat macaroni pasta (uncooked)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

  4. Pour in beef broth and diced tomatoes; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 5–10 minutes until carrots are tender.
  5. Stir in macaroni pasta and tomato sauce; cover and cook until pasta is al dente (7–8 minutes). Serve hot.
