  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (your choice)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dollop jelly over this layer and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Add the remaining batter on top and repeat with more jelly swirls.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow cooling before slicing.
